The Summer Showdown Tournament replaces the National Baseball Festival and includes an adjustment on age grades competing, to align closer with Sport NZ’s Sport Pathways Framework and Balance is Better.
A National, club-based youth tournament for age grades 14U and 16U club teams to compete for a National Title in each grade.
- 6th – 8th February 2025 – Waitangi Weekend
- Tauranga City Baseball Club, Carlton Park, Otumoetai, Tauranga
- 50% participation rule and Pitch Smart rules in play
Note: Wed 5th February 2025 included as a travel day/afternoon, with gameplay starting early on Thurs 6th February 2025.
