Baseball NZ is introducing Regional Development Hubs in 2025, as a key shift in the national performance pathway and athlete program. 

Regional Hubs will provide increased accessibility, convenience, coaching and conditioning for national squad athletes, more locally.  Auckland and Wellington will be the initial Regional Hubs with additional locations being added.

Regional Development Hubs are designed to offer localised training centres that provide players and coaches the ability to work together in a baseball-specific environment, regularly.  This will better support and develop baseball athletes in our pathway programs.

Regional Hub coaches will provide personalised coaching, feedback and technical instruction tailored to the individual player's needs, all aligned to the player development philosophies of Baseball New Zealand and dialled into the National Squads and NZ Teams.
