Howick-Pakuranga, Auckland Baseball and Baseball New Zealand have all been recipients of Glenn Campbell's hard work for the sport and he was made the third member of Baseball New Zealand's Hall of Fame at the recent 2018 Awards Presentation.

While first inductee Ed Mason (2016) presented the plaque, second inductee John Fellet (2017) read the inscription...."Baseball Scouts have a phrase when trying to describe a potential prospect. They use the term “a 5 tool player”. By this they mean a player that can hit for average, hit for power, can run fast, can field well and has a strong throwing arm.In looking for candidates for the NZ Baseball Hall of Fame we are also looking for 5 tool players. Individuals who have Coached, become Administrators, Umpired, given their time over a long period and have given their financial support to baseball. This year’s inductee to the Baseball Hall of Fame certainly qualifies as 5 tool player. Hall of Fame - Glenn Campbell."
