Trials set for National U15 side to Play at World Cup Qualifier in Guam

Baseball New Zealand will hold trials for both the U15 national sides as they prepare for WBSC Oceania Qualifiers this summer.

The New Zealand U15 side, managed by Scott Drinkwater, will hold trials in Nelson (Sat Oct 12), Wellington (Sun Oct 13), Tauranga (Sat Oct 19) and Auckland (Sun Oct 20). South Island-based players are encouraged to attend the Nelson trial.

Players born in 2005, 2006 or 2007 are eligible for selection for the January 14-19 tournament in Guam.

These trials for the U15 side will be used to name an extended squad. Players who are named in the extended squad will then be asked to attend the extended squad camp in Auckland on November 9-10, with the final squad that will travel to Guam being named shortly after the camp has concluded.
