Baseball by the Waterfront - What a Great Way to Play

Knock it out of Silo Park this summer in Auckland’s very own, pop-up batting cage. Come down to Wynyard Quarter between January and February to try and hit a home run or throw that elusive curveball while overlooking the Waitemata Harbour.
Here’s how it works
There’ll be two outdoor baseball cages: one for batting, one for pitching. Pay just $2 and you can try your hand at both. There are plenty of bats and balls to go around, so all you need to do is turn up.
On the weekends, you’ll be able to pick up some ballpark fare from the Silo Park Markets, and then kick back on the mini-grandstand and root for the home team.
To cap it all off, Silo Park Cinema has programmed a special screening of Field of Dreams, on Friday 17th of February.

The essential info:
20 January – 19 February 2017
Wed – Fri: 4-8pm (Open Auckland Anniversary and Waitangi Day)
Sat – Sun: 12-8pm
Suited for ages 6 and up
$2 entry gets you a turn in both batting and pitching cages, but the amount of balls is dependent on queues. So if you want more game time, come early.
This four week pop-up is thanks to: Baseball New Zealand, The Fieldhouse, and Wynyard Quarter
